Vuilzak

VUILZAK, Ghent, 15’

Inside a trash bag by the canal, I’m waiting. I’m wondering if passersby will notice and liberate me. Because of lack of oxygen, my breathing goes faster. After fifteen minutes, the police arrive. They ask me if I’m alive. Then they ask my name and date of birth. Then they tear me out of the bag and I have to give a statement.
