A structure of human nature, Toestand, Brussel, 360’
I lie on a roof, my arm is hanging over the edge, asking for an apple. On the ground directly under my reaching arm, a pile of apples. People can climb up a ladder and hand me an apple. I start to chew on it, then take the chewed piece out of my mouth and place it at the corner of the roof. Gradually, a raster pattern is being formed on the roof. I’m repeating this act during six hours until the roof is completely filled with apple nubs. Afterwards the work is consumed by birds, bugs and other critters.
